Abstract: To study the correlation between “PsA-associated” risk factors and the development of CVD in patients with psoriatic arthritis. Material and methods: The study involved 94 patients with psoriatic arthritis aged 20 to 65 years, who were divided into two groups. Group 1 included 32 patients with psoriatic arthritis without CVD, group 2 included 62 patients with psoriatic arthritis with CVD. The patients underwent clinical, laboratory, instrumental studies, statistical analysis, and determined the correlation between risk factors and the development of CVD. Results: Chronic inflammation characteristic of psoriatic arthritis contributes to the development of lipid metabolism disorders, endothelial dysfunction, atherosclerosis and increases the risk of cardiovascular complications. Conclusions: “PsA-associated” risk factors: disease duration, skin lesions according to the PASI index, inflammatory process activity according to the DAS28 index, IL-17 and ET-1 levels in most patients with psoriatic arthritis are associated with a direct strong correlation with the development of cardiovascular disease
