Abstract: In modern conditions of functioning of beauty and health industry institutions (beauty salons, SPA centers, cosmetology clinics, etc.), ensuring anti-infective safety is of particular importance. This paper examines current issues related to the risks of infection of clients and staff in such institutions. The article analyzes the most common ways of transmission of infections, shortcomings in the organization of sanitary and hygienic control, gaps in compliance with sterilization and disinfection measures, as well as issues of personnel qualification in the field of infection safety. The need to comply with current sanitary and epidemiological standards and introduce modern infection protection technologies is emphasized. In conclusion, recommendations are made to improve the system of anti-infective protection in beauty and health institutions.
