It is known that there are more than 100 types of human papillomavirus (HPV), each assigned an identification number, such as HPV-6, HPV-11, HPV-16, and HPV-18. According to statistics, there are more than 200 types of HPV in the world, about 30 of which can cause genital infections. HPV are viruses that can be present and spread in various parts of the body. HPV types that affect the anogenital area differ from papillomas that infect other parts of the body, such as fingers, hands, and face. Therefore, early diagnosis of HPV-related diseases is crucial. The issue of vaccination against HPV is also highly relevant.en_US
