Prostate cancer represents over 15% of all malignant tumors diagnosed in men, and in terms of mortality it ranks second only to lung cancer. The objective of this study is to review and systematize the literature concerning the differential diagnosis of prostate conditions. The article discusses the significance of PSA, PSA3, and multiparametric MRI ,highlights the benefits and drawbacks of transperineal and transrectal prostate biopsies, and addresses challenges related to providing adequate pain management during biopsy procedures. Further research is needed both to enhance diagnostic accuracy and to improve the quality of life for patients undergoing invasive prostate biopsy.en_US
