dc.description.abstractLeishmaniasis is a parasitic endemic disease that is widespread around the globe and affects mainly segments of the population with an unfavorable economic situation in rural areas in tropical and subtropical countries. The num-ber of countries where leishmaniasis is considered endemic is constantly growing. According to the information, in 2020 there were 88 such countries, of which 67 were in the African-American part, and 21 were in the American and Oceania.en_US
