Abstract: Renal tubular acidosis (RTA) is a disorder characterized by the kidney's inability to properly acidify urine, leading to metabolic acidosis. Distal renal tubular acidosis (dRTA) is a specific type of RTA that is often caused by genetic mutations. Understanding the genetic heterogeneity of dRTA is crucial for developing effective treatment strategies.
