Abstract: According to WHO, there are currently more than 177 million diabetics in the world, and by 2025 their number will reach 300 million. According to WHO, by 1980, more than 30 million patients with diabetes mellitus were registered around the globe, and the proportion of purulent-inflammatory diseases in surgical pathology, which accounts for 70% of such patients [2]. The most frequently detected are abscesses, phlegmons, carbuncles, boils, and suppuration of postoperative wounds.
