dc.description.abstract | There are respiratory and non–respiratory functions of the respiratory system, and in this article we are focusing on the non–respiratory functions of the lungs. This includes protection from particles in inhaled air, participation in systemic circulation and blood filtration, working with vasoactive substances in the blood, forming and releasing alveoli or substances used in the circulation. The metabolic level of any organ has its own characteristics. It is important to study the non–respiratory function of the lung in depth and to know its complex surfactant system. Because disorders in this area lead to serious complications in obstetric practice, pediatrics, as well as in pulmonology and industrial pathology, bronchial obstruction, hemodynamic disorders of pulmonary blood circulation, development of fibrosis and emphysema. The abundance of facts requires their systematic integration. Today, we are focusing on the fact that the metabolic syndrome, which is common among the population, leads to all metabolic processes in the body, and specifically to disorders of the non–respiratory function of the lungs. As a result of the conducted research, it is known that few studies have been conducted in our country on non–respiratory lung dysfunctions in metabolic syndrome, their early diagnosis and correction of identified changes. | en_US |
