Abstract: Over the past 20 years, there has been a significant increase in liver diseases. In the CIS countries, from 500 to 1 million people fall ill with various liver diseases. By now, the number of people suffering from liver diseases in the world has reached 2 billion. Every year, 2-3 million people are registered with viral, toxic, medicinal, alcoholic or autoimmune diseases.
