Abstract:
This clinical analysis explores the importance of psychological support for
mental health in women undergoing oncological treatment, using breast cancer as a case
study. It reviews the impact of psychological interventions such as cognitive-behavioral
therapy, psychoeducation, and peer support on reducing anxiety, depression, and improving
quality of life. The article highlights the challenges in integrating psychosocial care into
oncology practice and emphasizes the need for personalized and early psychological support
to enhance treatment adherence and overall patient well-being.
