Abstract:
Objective: Analysis of cardiovascular disorders in pa
tients with pulmonary tuberculosis at different phases of
the disease. Material and methods: A total of 37 patients
with acute progressive pulmonary tuberculosis (TP), in
cluding 25 men and 12 women, with an average age of 39
years, were examined at the Tashkent City Clinical Hospi
tal of Phthisiology and Pulmonology. Results: Pulmonary
tuberculosis can lead to significant vascular dysfunction
and inflammation, which can contribute to the develop
ment of cardiovascular diseases and their progression in
patients with tuberculosis. In addition, tuberculosis can
cause heart damage, including pericarditis, myocarditis,
and endocarditis, which can lead to a number of cardiac
complications such as heart failure, arrhythmia, and sud
den cardiac death. Conclusions: Detection, prevention,
and treatment of tuberculosis in children and adolescents
is an important component of the national tuberculosis
control program in our republic.
