Abstract:
Aesthetic defects of the dentition are visual imperfections that disrupt the harmony of a
smile. They include discoloration of enamel, gaps between teeth, chips, irregularly shaped teeth, or missing teeth. Dental defects are a cosmetic blemish that increases the risk of losing healthy teeth and leads to speech impairment. Orthodontic treatment and professional prosthetics help ensure the full restoration of chewing and speech functions, as well as the preservation of healthy teeth. Modern diagnostic and comprehensive treatment methods make it possible to effectively restore dentition and improve patients' appearance. This article examines modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of aesthetic defects of the dentition, including the use of orthodontic and restorative technologies. Statistics on the incidence of these defects and data on the use of innovative treatment methods are presented. The results of clinical observations
