Abstract: This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the environmental impact of food industry enterprises. It highlights key issues such as air, water, and soil pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, waste accumulation, and recycling. The paper includes examples of successful international practices aimed at minimizing environmental damage and offers recommendations for implementing sustainable technologies. Special attention is given to the situation in Uzbekistan and opportunities for improving the ecological safety of food enterprises.
