dc.description.abstract The article is called Modern diagnostics and prevention of chronic scurvy in children is very rarely diagnosed in modern conditions. Material and methods. The disease was manifested by severe weakness, leg edema, gingivitis and spontaneous hemorrhagic rashes on the legs, which were initially regarded as vasculitis. The confluent nature of the rash, their predominant localization on the back of the thighs and shins, the presence of perifollicular hemorrhages pathognomonic for scurvy, gingivitis, a complete lack of ascorbic acid in the diet for several months, as well as concomitant alimentary dystrophy and polyvitamin deficiency allowed us to suspect scurvy in the patient. en_US
