Preeclampsia - one or more after 20 weeks of pregnancy arterial
accompanying organ dysfunction and/or significant proteinuria characterized by
hypertension, pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum periods an aggravating multisystem
pathological condition. Tumors are not mandatory diagnostic criteria for PE. Various risk
factors are associated with a higher likelihood of developing preeclampsia. That's it
however, it should be noted that most cases of preeclampsia develop in healthy
nulliparous women without obvious risk factors. |
