Abstract:
The increasing number of elderly people in the modern world makes the health problem of the geriatric population relevant. The most common cause of morbidity and mortality in this group is coronary heart disease, leading in hospitalization rates and second in mortality. The condition of the cardiovascular system in elderly people with myocardial infarction has recently been of interest to many researchers. It should be noted that the features of the clinical picture of myocardial infarction in patients of these age groups have not been sufficiently studied.
