The level of infectious safety of transfusion therapy is determined by the effectiveness of recruiting healthy
donors, technologies for obtaining blood components and inactivating pathogens in them, and the rational use of blood
products. Along with this, screening of infection markers in blood donors is a key element of ensuring the safety of
transfusion therapy. The article examines modern methods of virus inactivation to ensure the infectious safety of donor blood. |
