dc.description.abstract Objective assessment of respiratory function after septoplasty using anterior active rhinomanometry. Material and methods: The study included 98 patients who underwent septoplasty for deviated nasal septum. The control group consisted of 30 healthy people. To assess the effectiveness of septoplasty before surgery and one and three months after surgery, anterior active rhinomanometry was performed. Results: The total volume flow increased statistically significantly after the operation. Airflow resistance in the 1st and 3rd months after septoplasty decreased statistically significantly. Conclusions: Anterior active rhinomanometry is advisable to use for an objective assessment in order to monitor the results of the operation. en_US
