Abstract

This literature review examines the impact of noise levels in healthcare facilities on central nervous system function and the work performance of medical personnel. Based on contemporary scientific evidence, it has been established that noise levels in medical institutions frequently exceed hygienic standards, particularly in intensive care and resuscitation units, where they range from 60 to 80 dB.
