Abstract:
Currently, sleeve gastrectomy (SG) is the most frequently performed bariatric procedure
worldwide. However, existing evidence implies that SG may induce de novo or worsen the gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The relationship between GERD and laparoscopic Sleeve gastrectomy SG very complex and unclear. GERD is one of the most serious postoperative complication. Dyspepsia affects the patient’s quality of life in
the postoperative period.
