Abstract:
Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a common complication in long-term
hemodialysis (HD) patients, often associated with arteriovenous fistulas
(AVFs), which increase cardiac output (CO) and pulmonary artery
pressure (PAP). This study aimed to explore the relationship between PH
and AVF formation and evaluate how AVF flow and characteristics
contribute to PH development.
