dc.description	Constipation is a major symptom of gastrointestinal tract, a condition associated with defe cation disorder and incomplete emptying of the intes tine. Constipation is not a self-contained disease, but a symptom of malfunctions of the body, diseases and fail ures in the functioning of various systems. Constipation is diagnosed in 30-50% of adults and 5-20% of children. Older people are five times more likely to have it than younger people. The causes of the problem are poor nu trition, taking some medications, infectious diseases and serious pathologies that can cause chronic constipation.	en_US
