dc.description.abstract Assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs) have revolutionized infertility treatment, offering hope to millions of couples worldwide. From in vitro fertilization (IVF) to newer methods such as intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), ARTs have significantly improved success rates and accessibility for diverse patient groups. However, the rapid evolution of these technologies brings with it numerous ethical, legal, and social dilemmas. This article explores the development and applications of ARTs, current trends in the field, and the challenges of balancing technological innovation with ethical considerations. Through a comprehensive analysis, we highlight how ARTs continue to reshape reproductive medicine, while raising questions about equitable access, embryo selection, and long-term societal implications. en_US
